WORKY IS REPOSITIONED

Aug, 2010

Ray Nolan, who set up the successful Irish accommodations company Web Reservations International, is to relaunch his website Worky, which provides a service that matches jobs to candidate skills. Nolan’s move puts him in direct competition with Linkedin, the US website that is currently setting up its European headquarters in Dublin.
The Sunday Tribune reported that Worky will offer many of the same features as its rival, including work profiles, online networks and a mobile application. It provides details of two million available jobs in 22 countries. Worky. com, which was first launched last year, is now being repositioned – it employs 10 people at its base in Grand Canal Quay in Dublin.
