The company managing the country’s fibre-optic telecoms network recorded a 30% rise in revenues last year and has reduced its losses, The Sunday Business Post reports.

E-net had revenues of €9.4m in the year to April 30, 2009, compared with €7.2m the previous year. Net losses fell to €989,000 from €1.7m previously. The company projects to break even this year, helped by a recent €17m deal with Vodafone
