Eircom is preparing to launch a new mobile phone service this autumn using Meteor’s network, which it also owns, according to the Sunday Business Post.
Eircom Mobile already operates in the corporate market but the services will be rolled out to the broader consumer market in a move that makes the future role of Meteor unclear.
