The latest animation from Brown Bag Films will begin a run on the BBC from tomorrow, according to The Sunday Business Post.
Octonauts, a series for pre-school children, will run on CBeebies. It is based on a group of heroes who patrol the world’s oceans and engage in deeds of derring-do. Brown Bag has produced 52, 11-minute episodes for the series, which was described by the company’s director Darragh O’Connell as the most technically challenging it has carried out to date.
“We have had an amazingly talented crew working around the clock for the last 18 months to create this wonderful series, and I think it’s going to set a new bar for kids’ TV animation,” he said.
